The drop down menu for time of visit wouldn't let me state the actual date (Nov 19, 2019) before COVID hit. I am by habit a 20-25% tipper, so if they are going to hold a gun to my head they can have just have their 18%. Ive waited on large (18-25 people) parties, just to be tipped a palmful of loose change.My problem is that little statement at the end of the menu that with an arbitrary number of guests in a party you will be hit with a 18% tip. I've been a waitress, I know tipping is expected.

I hate it when I go out with the full family, and the restaurant hits me up with a mandatory tip.
They lost that final star because service has, from time to time, been a bit indifferent and slow, because the storefront and dining areas can be difficult to navigate in a wheelchair, and because they do the imposed tip thing. The international cuisine in a sophisticated yet casual environment is perfect for everyday dining and special events. It began humbly in 2004 with just four tables and catering, but is now a full-service establishment with seating for 140. There might be a touch of sticker shock for those expecting chain store microwave and go prices, they are in line with the other. American Thyme Matters is a restaurant, bar and patio-lounge in El Paso, Texas. We have eaten at Thyme Matters several times, both lunch and dinner.
